We call Belinda Mayer ’s garden in Ontario waaaaaaay back in March of 2012 ( review your memoryHERE ) , so it was an unexpected but happy surprise to get more photos from her recently . Man , you guys puzzle around ! ( and I ’m thankful ! )
Belinda says,“We know on four land in Kinburn , Ontario , near Ottawa . Our property is mostly hardwood woodland , utter for maple sirup . ( One of the icon has our lucre shack in it that my husband build and uses to make his own maple syrup . )
“ We do n’t have any grass in the front yard – the woodland finish at my garden edge with a front pathway . I garden with mostly native plants , specially shrubs that provide berries for the shuttle and wildlife .

“ My preferent works are the aboriginal blackeyed Susans I dug up from a construction site that self - seed readily and I transpose every year to any bare spots . ”
Still beautiful , Belinda , and that ’s a very well-favored kale shack ! * * * * you could read more about Belinda and her garden on her web log : http://naturebee.blogspot.ca/.
