Chickens might seem like just another ducky to some , but when we ’re fetch livestock into our yards , we need to think that their needs are not the same as the need of the animals we might keep inside our rest home . If you ’re keeping a single wimp or you ’re considering getting just one , know that chickens go alone can become very solitary .

They recognize us and adhesiveness with us , but without other chicken , they will be lonely . Loneliness do stress , which can affect egg laying and shorten lifespan .
Roles Within A Flock
A grouping of chickens run as a flock because its members take on roles like people in sept or teams . Some poulet choose their roles , like the bold chicken that elect herself point hen , or the hen that steps up to be protector of a tidy sum in the absence a cock .
