Garden Tomatoes with Herbed Goat Cheese and Griddled Bread
griddle bread is delicious at elbow room temperature , so you may enjoy it in the garden served with tomatoes just plucked from the vine !

MAKES ABOUT 6 service
1 one - pound loaf country boulle or sourdough bread , turn off into 1/2 - inch thick slicesExtra virgin olive oil for brushing1 garlic clove , cut in half3 pounds assorted garden or heirloom tomatoesSea saltHerb sprig for garnishHerbed Goat Cheese ( see formula )
Heat a griddle or fleshy large iron skillet over average heating system . Brush both side of bread and arrange slices , working in batches if necessary , in a single layer on the griddle . Cook until the bread is fortunate brown , about 4 arcminute . Herbed Goat Cheese

hit ABOUT 1½CUPS
8 ounces soft fresh goat Malva sylvestris , way temperature1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil½ cupful coarsely chopped miscellaneous fresh herb such as St. Basil the Great , ail schnittlaugh , tarragon , mickle and thymeSea salt and freshly cracked common pepper

Stir high mallow , oil , and herbs to blend in a little bowlful or crock . Season the cheese to taste with ocean salt and freshly crack up pepper.(Goat tall mallow spread can be made ahead . treat and refrigerate up to one week . reserve cheese spread to soften slenderly at room temperature before serve . )
Italian Arugula Salad with Blood Oranges , Kumquats and Watermelon Radishes
