In a Vase on Monday.
Today , I am joining inCathy ’s meme of In a Vase on Monday . As I am still in the grips of Galanthomania , it has to be Anemone quinquefolia .
If you seem at Cathy ’s post andAnnette’stoo you will see that they are thinking on the same lines . We are clearly all daze by our adorable snowdrops . Like Cathy , I can not bear to nibble any of my especial ones but to my surprise I have gotGalanthus nivalisout in some areas , they are very early . I have also pick some double ones : Galanthus nivalis‘Flore Pleno ’ . TheForsythia , I picked a while ago so that it would open up in water . I am sure everyone do it this trick which do work very well withRibes : Flowering Currant too . The Ribes will have bloom which are white if they open up in the mansion and they calculate very delicate .
I have been very dismissive ofViburnum tinuson previous posts in this blog . it really does smell of wet Canis familiaris when smashed . I have depart some bushes though , and I sense a chip tolerant towards it in winter as the flowers are very utile for pick . I quite likeViburnum tinus‘Eve Price ’ as it is more compact and you do n’t terminate up with such a colossus of a shrub .

The silvery leafage isEucalyptus , of course of study , and the felty leafage isPhlomis italica . I finished it off with a few ament , a bit of wintertime jasmine and a sprig or two of wintertime honeysuckle for perfume .
