Malcolm Catlin has been appointed as Plant Healthy Limited ’s new Project Director , effective from 30 January 2025 . Taking over from Alistair Yeomans and working closely with Defra and the other partner organisation of the Plant Health Alliance , Malcolm will oversee the development and advancement of the Plant Healthy Certification Scheme and the Plant Health Management Standard , which advertise and heighten plant wellness and biosecurity measures to protect plant species and associated ecosystem in the UK and beyond .
