Today ’s exposure are from Laura Kokesh in Redmond , Washington . Laura says,“I survive in Trilogy out on Novelty Hill area of Redmond . I have been designing and changing my garden for the five years I ’ve been here . There was nothing on my lot when I corrupt it . Just clay and hard genus Pan . But I receive full Lord’s Day and I bring in 47 yards of surface soil and sum up good deal of compost . I do not use fertilizers and or else , compost two times a class and prune like crazy !
“ I have some endearing specimens , including a lovely beech tree , Vanderwolf pine , several miniature Japanese maples , dozens of lily , and massive sum of vines like three- and five - bequeath akebias , clematis , and climb roses . I do not have much space , but have several seating areas , each with its own sketch to appreciate the varnished glass and other nontextual matter mixed in with my planting .
“ I also have several Hinoki cypress tree , redwood , and several assortment of sess as you could see . I also have five different water supply characteristic spread throughout the garden . I have several big arborvitae in the back inner yard to provide length and construction throughout the year and have layered the colors and sizes of the plant to provide year round interest .

“ This garden now look matured , so the pruning is at least twice a year , often more with the massive vine I have ! I trust you and your reader delight this garden as much as I do . ”
Lovely , Laura ! I ’d love to see some of your seating expanse next .
