There are lots of thing in my life that I wish I could be intimate . Like melons . I eat a lot of fruit , and a freehanded , risque Citrullus vulgaris look so yummy and juicy and immense , but I can not brook the taste of it or any of its melony kin . Same goes for whole pale yellow alimentary paste . Why ca n’t it taste as good as whole wheat berry bread , instead of the composition board it is ?
But the most confusing of these conundrums is my love - hatred relationship with earthworm . Earthworms are amazing thing . They air out and fertilize our gardens , release kitchen scraps into tremendous compost , and prompt us that our stain is a living ecosystem . But let me enjoin you , if I come upon one in the garden , I ’m a shiver mass of uselessness . I let out an embarrassed scream and drop my trowel . I look around to see if anyone has heard me , and I stealthily move along to another part of the mete until the worm has disappear into the soil again . And do n’t get me come out on insect compost . The thought of keep a whole BIN full of a writhing passel of slimy wormsinside my houseis enough to make me cash in one’s chips out .
